The Schaller Family is proud to be Partner/Owners of the Dickson Truckee office.  Affiliating with Dickson Realty, one of the largest privately owned regional real estate companies in California and Northern Nevada, helps us to provide an increased dimension and higher level of service to you, our client.

Real Estate is our passion.  It is our goal to greet everyday with enthusiasm and use our expertise to help our clients.     Moving to Truckee was the result of my wanting to find a place with the quality of life and freedom to raise our family in a beautiful, serene and safe environment.  Having the ability and good fortune to share this dream with clients, friends and family makes life just that much more fun!  Truckee is truly a place where green fairways, blue skies and memories meet.  Just say the word and I will tell you even more about this heavenly part of the world.

     

    I have been selling real estate in Truckee since 1990.  I was originally licensed in 1978 and received my broker’s license in 1993.  In May of 2007, I assumed the management of the Dickson Truckee office and am very excited to be working with a wonderful group of experienced, dedicated agents.  Our office atmosphere of support, harmony and trust creates an environment where all who contact us come away from that experience anxious to refer their friends and family, which of course is the highest compliment our clients can give us.

    The mountains have always been an integral part of my life and the many incredible experiences they have afforded me.  Fishing, backpacking, boating and most other outdoor activities have been the focus of my life in Truckee. My greatest enjoyment has come from working with the wonderful people I have met in Truckee, just up for the weekend, and those families striving to find a new place to raise their families in a wholesome, rewarding environment.

    I enjoy working with my family and sharing the successes and failures that the business experience always provides. I guess it’s all about people and my interaction with them that I cherish.

    Giving back to our community has always been a major part of our living in Truckee.  We support local charities through our Schaller Family Foundation.  The foundation was originally set up with the purpose of assisting “at risk” kids in our community. One of the larger projects which we supported was the building of a retreat/garden in the new wing of the hospital. I have found that Truckee, its people, the town, and the schools have caused me to sink roots deeply into this community as I have never been able to do before.  It’s my kind of town.

    Originally from the East Coast, I moved to the Bay Area over 30 years ago. In 1995, my husband and I bought a second home in Truckee and fell in love with the area, lifestyle, and people. We moved here full time in 1998 and raised our 3 children immersed in all that Truckee has to offer. Our involvement in the community has included being a foster family to almost 30 children, a volunteer for Tahoe Women’s Services, and building sets for the High School Drama Dept. We have also hosted  exchange students from Italy and Brazil.

     

    Not only did our move to Truckee provide us with a new appreciation of outdoor adventures, but also an opportunity to pursue new career paths. My husband Gordon became a Contractor and I got my Real Estate license, allowing us to work together in our passion to help others find their dream home in the Tahoe area. Having bought and sold many homes over the years, I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you enjoy working with, someone who is available when you have questions or concerns, and someone you can trust and depend on to help you through such an important event in your life.
