STATE ROUTE 28 UPDATE
BEGINNING SUNDAY, MAY 3
N.D.O.T. Contract 3371 ~ State Route 28 Project (Phase I) – Granite Construction contractor.
State Route 28 from U.S. 50 to Sand Harbor will be closed to traffic four (4) days a week for three weeks through May 22, 2009. The road will be closed for repaving to all vehicles, except ambulance and other emergency vehicles, beginning each Sunday at 7:00 p.m. through 5:00 a.m. each Friday. State Route 28 will be open to all vehicles every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 7:00 p.m.
Travel on U.S. 50 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Spooner Summit heading west/south bound for a distance of one mile and east/north bound for the same distance and at the same location to allow ingress/egress of the contractors hauling trucks at the SR 28/US 50 junction. The lane restrictions will be in place on a 24/7 basis from Sunday at 7:00pm through Friday at 5:00am of each week. Flaggers will be present. Please drive with caution.
