The Town of Truckee is providing down payment help to first time home buyers.   The buyers must first qualify for for an 80% loan to value loan.  The monies that are given to the buyers are at 3% simple interest and can stay in place until the home is sold, the home is no longer the buyers primary residence or, 30 years has past.
